We are excited to be embarking on our 37th season. As our guest, making you a ‘Happy Camper’ is our main priority!

Your First Gateway to Alaska'S Finest

We pride ourselves on cleanliness and friendly staff. The park is big-rig friendly with over 100 pull-throughs, tent sites, cabins, and all new glamping tents. Each site has well-groomed trees and greenery to help submerge you in the complete Alaskan experience.

GENERAL INFO & HISTORY

The campground opened in 1986, with 50 sites, and was developed the previous year while Jerry Jernigan worked on the Alaska Pipeline (the reason he and his family moved from Portland in 1975) while his wife, Rose, and son, Michael, were employed by a construction company in Anchorage.

This is an awesome campground. Great site spacing and very well maintained. The staff is really friendly and accommodating. We arrived mid day and had a preference for a different site - switched with No drama. Spending 2 nights here now and then 1 on the way back south in August. Very nice place.

Really nice place. Extremely well kept facilities and grounds. Love the layout so campers are not lined up exactly side by side, making you feel more private. Great laundry room too. Definitely recommend this campground to others

I have stayed in RV sites here several times and it is always great. Staff is friendly and accomodating. Bathrooms are in a nice warm building and showers are free. And having a restaurant like fast Eddys next door makes it easy. This is our go to place coming in or out of Alaska.
